Your opportunity:

As the Design Manager - Services, you will facilitate the delivery of robust and cost effective designs while ensuring that scope, budget and programme are met. Your design experience will allow you to facilitate the resolution of any design issues from both a technical and construction perspective.

Reporting directly to the Pre-Contracts Manager, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise your skills to make a difference in the delivery of exciting building & infrastructure projects for the QLD & PNG BU.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience in the delivery of services components (mechanical, electrical, fire/sprinkler systems, vertical transport & hydraulics) within building & infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in the management of consultant team members to prepare designs from concept to delivery (preparation of reports, calculations and drawings)
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate the resolution of any design issues from a technical and/or construction perspective
• Ability to drive performance within the design process to ensure design documentation is completed on time and fully integrated with reviewer's feedback
• Monitor any design issues which may arise out of defect rectification, value engineering or interface with external bodies
