About your next employer:
With functions in Engineering, Project Management and Asset Management, you will be working for one of the key stakeholders in many of Newcastle’s keystone projects. They have a strong pipeline of new and maintenance work planned for late 2018 - 2019 and as a result, Hudson have been engaged to source an experienced Project Manager to join the team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the role:
As a project manager within this team your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Obtaining quotes
- Engaging contractors
- Managing safety
- Executing the Project
- Finalising the project details and paperwork
You will need to ensure:
- Projects are correctly planned and forecasted
- Project costs and variations are correctly managed
- Stakeholder expectations are managed
- Projects comply with the risk management framework.
About you:
The successful candidate will meet most, if not all, of the below key criteria:
- Degree qualified in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Construction / Project Management
- Technical systems experience in Manufacturing / Infrastructure / Utilities
- Minimum 5 years Project Management Experience conducting the above daily tasks.
- Demonstrated experience in Bulk Earthworks and Pipe Work
You could come from a number of backgrounds including:
- Civil Infrastructure Project Management & Project Engineers
- Government and State Asset Project Management
- Utilities and Services engineering / Project Management
Please Note: The successful candidate must have a Class C Drivers licence
