Based in Leeton we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team.
This is a critical role to the business that will manage and coordinate capital projects for RiceGrowers’ Ltd businesses from approval through to commissioning and handover.
Key aspects to this role will be:
- Scoping project requirements to meet business needs
- Coordinating project design works
- Preparing tender packages
- Reviewing tenders and providing recommendations on preferred tenderers
- Preparing Contract packages and Awarding Contracts
- Coordinating project works including contractors and consultants
- Coordinating works with Operations personnel
- Balancing the needs of competing work fronts / operational requirements
- Leading project coordination meetings
- Prioritising project needs and prioritising own workload
- Acting on time/budget/safety/quality critical elements of a project based on their priority
- Managing project budgets and schedules to ensure business needs are achieved.
- Controlling project expenditure and variations
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Project Management experience and strong experience executing small to large scale projects and realising the benefits
- Manufacturing/ FMCG Industry Exposure – experience working as an engineer in industry implementing capital works
- Financial Acumen – know how to plan and work to budgets, particularly CapEx
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
