Embedded C Developer

My client is seeking an embedded C developer to join them for a 2-3 month contract starting immediately! You will be able to hit the ground running, undertake general programming tasks, firmware engineer plans, and improve and manage software from inception to use. 

This can include allocating resources to complete programming projects and designing detailed plans to ensure firmware is functioning properly!

To Be Successful you will:

• Have significant demonstrated commercial experience as a Firmware Engineer.
• Experience with DLMS communications would be ideal.
• Have a bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Development and implementation of software in an efficient manner to fulfill a given specification.
• Prepare documentation on software features including instructional material in conjunction with test plans to foster stability of the platform in use.
• Write software to support the operation of designed products.
• Ensure all designs comply with project and functional specifications, relevant standards and other regulations.
• Improvements to existing designs and problem solving and assist customer service department as required.
• Co-ordinate development activities as required, including liaison with other areas of the company such as Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service.
• Prepare and manage project documentation in accordance with QA procedures.
