The role of Structural Draftsperson offers the successful candidate an opportunity to join a results focused team of highly skilled and highly regarded engineers who are delivering a strong pipeline of work.
Reporting directly to the Division Manager and Design Manager, the role focuses on the delivery of outstanding design solutions for our clients. To be considered for this position, applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Requirements for the role:
- Solid industry based experience (minimum of 3 years) in drafting and detailing buildings and structures.
- A minimum of 1 year Revit experience is essential.
- Ability to converse with builders, architects and clients.
- Be conversant with Australian codes and standards and have a good grasp of the usual industry standard software packages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is essential for this role.
- Building industry / construction / or consultancy background essential.
- Strong technical skills, ambition to progress within the industry and a desire for ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Ambition to progress within the industry.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A "can do" attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A professional, business-like approach.
