Golding are currently seeking a Site and Project Engineer with significant sub-divisions experience to be based on site within our Urban division. The  purpose of these roles is to deliver project engineering works effectively in order to meet agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards.  Reporting to the Project Manager the successful candidates will possess tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, supported by experience in a civil contractor environment. 

Key role task types:  

• Provide civil engineering services to the project
• Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes
• Effectively monitor and manage the performance of any direct reports and the team, including ensuring effective induction and necessary skills training activities are undertake
• Implement and monitor the project program and take necessary action within your level of authority
• Effectively monitor and manage resources for the project 
• Implement effective subcontractor and supplier prequalification and procurement processes according to system requirements
• Communicate effectively with project team members, including supervision, subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality, Environmental and Safety Management systems requirements  
• Accurately perform reporting tasks relating to financial and operational requirements of the project

Key capability requirements:  

• Experience working on sub-division projects
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential 
• Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works 
• Analytical and design skills for civil works 
• Communication including verbal, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients
• Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors 
• Sound level computer applications, including Microsoft applications, Suretrak/Primavera and AutoCAD 
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
