Immediate start for an Engineering Technical Officer for a local government in the Perth Metro area.

Your new role
To assist with the ongoing capital works program, an Engineering Technical Officer is required to join the Traffic and Development team. In this role you will be involved in road safety and development related matters including processing obstruction permits, traffic management plans, and crossover applications as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders and organizing minor works quotations.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a civil engineering professional with a diverse range of engineering skills. Your local government background has included assessing various applications and preliminary planning for minor works projects. Your experience with traffic inquiries has included scheduling and organising traffic counters as well as consulting with external stakeholders on road safety matters. This expertise, combined with your excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensures strong stakeholder liaison abilities. Your knowledge of the relevant standards, and previous local government experience, will further enhance your capabilities in this role.
