Experienced Civil Project Manager opportunity within a newly established office for a national consultancy.
Your New Company
This national Civil Engineering consultancy have been established for 30 years and through their great relationships, have already secured some major projects to kick-start the Melbourne operation. Operating across multiple states, they work on major land development and infrastructure projects including two of Australia's largest subdivisions (6,000 and 12,000 lots each!). They have a fantastic reputation and require good local talent to help grow and sustain the office here in Victoria, which is run by a young and passionate group of individuals.
Your New Role
You will be required to manage and deliver land development projects of differing sizes and act the focal point between all internal and external stakeholders. Acting as the sole Project Manager on these projects your communication and liaison skills will be in high-demand - especially with local authorities. You will also be required to deliver cost estimates, prepare deeds and service agreements for each project, as well as lodging applications with the relevant authorities.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5-10+ years of experience in Victoria in Civil Engineering/Project Management
- Have worked for a Civil consultancy environment
- Ideally a local Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Great communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relationships within the local market and understanding of codes/practices
- Have delivered similar Land Development projects
