This global multi-disciplinary consultancy are a major player in the engineering industry however as cliché as it sounds they are big enough to win the sexy projects but small enough where you’ll know everyone’s name. And pardon the pun, but they are aggressively building their buildings team and at the top of the list they need a Director to manage the building services group across Sydney and Melbourne.
This role is a unique blend of group management and marketing so not only will you be required to win work and develop clients, you’ll need to be the spark that mentors and managers circa 40 engineers in your group.
Internally they highly encourage growth and development through a variety of performance programs and design academies. They like to think (and rightfully so) that they design career paths for people who want to be renowned in the industry.
You’ll obviously need an electrical or mechanical degree and 15 + years of experience working in a competing building services consultancy. It all sounds good and well coming from me, but I'm sure you'll agree when you sit down with their Directors for a coffee as they have huge plans and need people like you to help achieve it.
