Our team specialises in delivering successful projects on behalf of our clients. With a strong portfolio of projects and a strong project pipeline, we have an opportunity for a Project Manager to assist on the delivery of Defence Projects in Townsville.
The Project Manager will be able to demonstrate the ability to participate in the planning, implementation and close-out of projects to meet client outcomes. You will also be confident in contributing to achieving the required results in delivering reasonably complex projects.
You will assume project management responsibilities supervised by senior project managers. Your day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing project briefs
- Preparing tender documents
- Stakeholder management
- Contract Administration
- Site inspections
- Writing reports
This role truly offers an excellent chance to improve and develop, with a wide variety of exposure across various defence projects.
As well as self-motivation, sound communication skills and the ability to work in project teams, the successful applicant will have the following abilities:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering Degree (Bachelor of Engineering: Civil, Structural, or Environmental are preferred)
- Some relevant, practical experience in civil/structural projects
- 2 + years experience in a similar position
- The ability to foster and evolve internal and external relationships
- A desire to make a difference
The position will be based in Townsville and requires the applicant to be an Australian Citizen.
