Senior Highways Engineer - opportunity to partner with a market leader and be exposed to major projects
Your new company
Our client is a well-respected global Engineering consultancy that have secured a number of key Civil Infrastructure projects within Victoria. Due to these significant project wins they now seek to employ Senior Civil Engineer on a permanent basis to work within their highways team.
Your new role
Working on significant local highway projects, this position will see you responsible for concept, preliminary and detailed design for a range of key road and highway projects. Your duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Concept and detailed design for Engineering works
- Provide technical guidance to client and management team
- Assist and mentor junior staff members
- Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders; including external consultants, drainage, utilities, traffic etc.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you’ll have qualifications within Civil Engineering and be a Chartered Professional Engineer. As a Senior Engineer it is expected you’ll have 7 - 10+ years’ experience and have extensive exposure to local codes and regulations with VicRoads knowledge also important. Consultancy experience is also required.
