Principle Drainage Engineer is required for a respected consultancy. CBD based. Major infrastructure work.
Your new company
Our client are a respected engineering design consultancy that operate globally and are experts across a variety of sectors including; aviation, highways, bridges, energy, water, transport and rail. Having experienced consistent growth across the past 12 months and due to an increase in work, they now seek a Principle Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
Working collaboratively with other senior Engineers, your role will see you develop effective design solutions for a range of major infrastructure projects such as water / wastewater assets and water related assets for significant road and rail projects. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing water infrastructure designs
- Concept design, feasibility and detailed design on projects
- Project reporting including progress and financial
- Resource management across water related civil teams
- Assist with business development in order to grow the business
- Mentoring more junior staff
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
- Hold a Civil Engineering degree and possess (or be in the process of undertaking) professional engineering accreditation (CPEng or similar)
- Experience in concept design and detailed design of drainage, sewerage and water supply infrastructure
- Experience in major civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills
