With a long history in the design and construction of submarines, Naval Group was chosen as the international design and build partner for Australia's Future Submarine Program. This program will span the next 50 years and presents the perfect opportunity to transfer your existing engineering skill set into South Australia's exciting defence industry.
As par of our existing Electrical Technology team, the successful applicant will assist with the identification and qualification of Australian suppliers for common technologies on the Future Submarine program design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying Australian suppliers of electrical equipment that have relevant technical capability;
- Support the procurement team in the choice and qualification of electrical equipment suppliers;
- Manage the qualification of the equipment for the Future Submarine Program;
- Support the design team to answers questions related to common technologies.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
- 5+ years’ relevant experience within an electrical discipline.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance);
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally as required.
