Working within the Projects and Contract Services Business Unit, our client is responsible for the planning and delivery of the Major Infrastructure Projects. The unit also negotiates and manages the contracts associated with the delivery of the company’s facilities and utilities such as power, water and waste.

Main Responsibilities

• Undertake a detailed review of all known buried utilities using existing utility drawings, geospatial surveys, specialist knowledge and extensive subsurface ground penetrating radar (GPR) scans. 
• Responsible for delivering provision and professional engineering advice
• Creation and maintenance of an integrated survey and utility database system
• Ensuring the integrity of input and output process as they relate to the system

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Extensive experience in the construction, utility and design industry
• Experience in ArcGIS – ESRI GIS Software
• Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting systems
• Extensive experience in Mechanical design and detailed drafting standards
• An ability to understand and interpret modern and historical engineering, survey and architectural drawings
• Experience with ground penetrating radar
