The Role
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of multiple construction services projects in Victoria. This role reports to the Operations Manager and will work closely with Supervisors/Leading Hands on site ensuring prompt project delivery.
In addition to working with a great team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure allowing you to further develop your technical and project management skills. There will be an opportunity for a strong performer to progress their career and move into a senior position.
Typical specialist construction works undertaken by SRG include:
- Façade repair;
- Concrete repair;
- Bridge repair;
- Joint and structural crack repair;
- Application of protective coatings;
- Carbon fibre strengthening;
- Waterproofing and water penetration;
- Structural/ mechanical grouting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of project specifications and preparation of related QA-QC documentation including Inspection Test Plans, Field Inspection Records, MDR etc
- Develop & maintain project documentation
- Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance to specifications
- Procurement support inc. Subcontract / Supplier QA-QC management
- Support Site Management team as required
- Ensure project compliance to the contract requirements and project budget.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Previous experience in a similar industry/role
- Previous project coordination experience
