Maintenance Manager
Role Based in Rouse Hill
Permanent Role

Alstom currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager to join or Services business and to work on the Sydney Metro North West Project. In this role you will be responsible for driving the projects execution, to maximising results in respect to delivering the maintenance scheduled while ensuring that work is done in a safe manor, to quality and to budget.

Key Responsibilities for this Role include:

• Plan and manage the complete execution of the scope, in line with the contracts requirements.
• To lead, support, motivate and direct the depot team to deliver the planned workload priorities while ensuring that 3rd parties are secured for the depot.
• Perform project operations management including proactive risk and opportunity management.
• To ensure that site safety is managed and maintained in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, and industry best practice.
• To ensure that depot processes are managed and maintained in accordance with ISO 9000 certification and Environmental standards.
• To actively encourage and facilitate all depot staff to develop the most cost effective and efficient processes, within company guidelines, that support a single company entity.
• To lead the annual depot budget preparation and budget forecasting, and to ensure that controls are in place.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a similar role managing a team of supervisors and trades people.
• Previous experience working on Rolling Stock would be beneficial but not essential.
• Operations and Safety management.
• Good knowledge of railway products and Maintenance activities.
