About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and technically savvy Mechanical Engineer who has a keen interest in providing innovative mechanical engineering solutions and designs in a client facing role. Working in our client office based in Brisbane you will be supported by a team of engineers.  The key responsibilities of the role include:

 

• Supporting the client in developing their portfolio of brownfield designs
• Providing and delivering quality “hands on” mechanical engineering solutions on time and within budget;
• Providing technical support and assistance within the discipline team and liaise with the project team
• Liaising with and influencing design, operations, and construction teams.
• Establish and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.

Skills & Experience

 

As you will be liaising directly with our clients, you will have sound communication and rapport building skills with the ability to think on your feet. Additional skills and experience include;

 

• An Australian recognised Mechanical Engineering degree;
• Experience in Coal Seam gas project delivery
• Previous design and mechanical engineering experience within brownfield environments. 
• A strong knowledge of basic engineering calculations including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics and fundamentals of structural and electrical engineering.
• Enthusiasm for grass roots engineering
• The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team
