Our Australian Surface Maritime team is growing

We are continuing to expand our Australian Maritime team and grow our Combat System team to support the continuing growth in the Australian Navy surface maritime domain. We are looking for motivated individuals for several new Engineering roles that will play an integral part of the team in anticipation of further activities across new, diverse and challenging programs. 

Lockheed Martin has been selected by the Australian government to deliver the Aegis Weapon System to the Future Frigate Fleet. Aegis is the world’s most advanced multi mission warfare capability and has been successfully integrated into the Royal Australian Navy’s new Hobart-class destroyers, which are Australia’s first warships to be equipped with the Aegis Combat System. 

Based in Mawson Lakes, Adelaide, you will join our dynamic, driven and passionate team of Engineers.

Requirements Engineer – Surface Maritime

As a key role within the team we are seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer to drive the DOORS database set up, it’s ongoing management and requirements authoring. Your broad systems engineering experience will be well utilised in application to the important phase in the systems engineering lifecycle
 
Preferred experience

• Experience in similar role and tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are highly desirable.
• While experience in a Surface or Sub-surface Maritime environment is ideal, experience from an Aerospace and/or C4ISREW background is also well regarded. The following skill areas are of interest:
