• Candidate dependent salary range - $90k to $110k + Super
• Work on new commercial and residential projects
• Flexible work arrangements focused on work / life balance

ROLE

• Designing and managing the project structural design through all phases
• Attending design meetings with clients and architects
• Sketching, reviewing and detailing engineering drawings
• Liaise with clients, architects, builders and subcontractors
• Mentoring engineers to effectively conduct structural analysis
• Communicating with the structural drafters and back check the drawings
• Design review according to Australian Standards and other standards when required
• Preparing structural inspection reports and rectifying details during site inspections
• Reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, precast, masonry and timber design

YOU

• Degree Qualified Structural Engineer - recognised by Engineering Australia
• 8+ years’ of local industry experience
• Proficient with Rapt, ETabs, Microstran, and Safe
• Revit and Robot Structural Analysis - looked upon favourably
• Proficient building structures technical knowledge
• Sound experience in building structures engineering consultancy and design
• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
• Chartered with the Institute of Engineers (Australia) - looked upon favourably
