An excellent opportunity exists for two Graduate Environmental Engineers/Scientists to join a small team of engineers and scientists at an Australian owned Environmental Consultancy. Two full-time positions would be based in our North Parramatta/Northmead office.
We are looking for graduates who are interested in gaining experience in air quality, noise, water, soil, chemicals, risk and contamination assessments.
The team works on a variety of interesting projects including environmental impact statements, air quality impact assessments including dust and odour, noise management, soil contamination, occupational hygiene, chemical risk and hazard analyses, compliance audits, environmental management plans, fire engineering and more. The sectors we work with include industrial, agriculture, construction, transport and residential, with projects throughout Australia. Examples of air work include poultry farms, concrete batching plants, foundries, paper mills and industrial factory emissions.
In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Fieldwork and environmental monitoring;
- Undertaking research, modelling and technical analysis;
- Assisting senior team members in the delivery of projects;
- Liaising with clients and attending meetings; and
- Report writing.
Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science;
- Strong technical and report writing skills;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; and
- Current class C driver's licence;
