Site Engineer - Civil is focusing on the civil works to serve the equipment Hardware installation and commissioning, including tower foundation and tower erection, brick wall fence, shelter/ODU and cable tray installation,  fiber/power cable installation, site finishing, etc. This is a contract role and based in VIC. Please note no sponsor is available and local Telco experience is preferable. 

Duties and Responsibility

• Full responsible for the site delivery
• feasibility review of designs during site acquisition phase
• Obtain inputs from SAED team and engage with construction teams to undertake builds
• scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Responsible for all aspects of OHS prior to, during and post construction works
• Manage construction works for mobile site upgrades and Greenfields including; rooftops, monopoles and towers
• Attend site inspections and audits to monitor quality and processes
• Drive subcontractor teams in the field to deliver and meet customer requirements
• Troubleshoot build issues with subcontractor, SAED team and customer teams
• Monitor and control site milestone, forecasts and actuals
• Attend site inspections and audits to monitor quality and processes
• Review and manage subcontractor performance and deliverables
• Stay up to date with customer requirements, guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant
• Monitor and control site milestone, forecasts and actuals, produce site level reporting for internal and external teams
• Track and manage variations and costs

Requirements of Knowledge and Skills:

• Graduate degree or diploma in Civil or related field with hands on experience in the Telecom industry
• 3+ years of rollout experience working in telecommunications deployment projects at the site level in Ausralian Market
• Demonstrated experience on coordinating logistics for delivery of material on site and ensuring material shortfalls are identified, documented and rectified
• Sound knowledge of local telecommunication network deployment practices and procedures
• Proficient on Microsoft tools for regular updated scheduling and tracking on site implementation
• White card OHS induction
