Role
Cardno’s dynamic and professional Building Services team are currently seeking a Senior Hydraulics Engineer to support the team as an experienced specialist in their field. This integral role will provide hydraulic and fire design services for a variety of projects, as well as being a leader and mentor. Based in our St Leonards Office this is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to join a progressive global organisation with a great team culture.
  
The Opportunity

• Engage with all stages of design, documentation and construction for hydraulic and wet fire services
• Generate fee proposals
• Attend site inspections and site meetings
• Liaise with clients to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Drawing using CAD and/or Revit (desirable)
• Mentoring of junior staff
• Professional development including project and people management

  
To be Successful

• Diploma of hydraulic engineering services or approved equivalent
• Registered NSW building practitioner (desirable)
• Experience within an engineering consulting environment
• Demonstrated local (Australian) experience of at least 5 years, including Government and urban sub-divisions, and tenancy fit outs
• Strong technical ability in building services design
• Ability to work independently and to manage projects autonomously
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with the team and management to produce client focused outcomes
