Working across Australia, we employ over 250 staff across 8 offices, and are a trusted provider to the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors.  

We are seeking a full-time Engineering Manager - Water to join our team based from our Sydney Office (Macquarie Park). Specialising in water/waste water, industrial or ground water treatment systems, the successful individual will manage the end-to-end design function of our Water division, including the management of our existing design engineering team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience working within the water/wastewater, industrial water or groundwater industry.
  • A hands-on approach and proven ability to manage the design process from concept through to detailed design; including the development of PFD's, P&ID's and control philosophies.
  • Experience with completing detailed analysis of proposed treatment processes and steps.
  • Proven record in providing technical and specialised support to management and staff.
  • Demonstrated experience working with filtration, coagulation, flocculation and ion exchange technologies. 
  • Experience in undertaking due-diligence reviews of technical specifications, datasheets and equipment specifications.
  • High level organisational skills and computer literacy.
  • Strong written / verbal communication with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with people.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
