About the opportunity:

Based in our high performing Sydney head office team no 2 days will be the same for you. You’ll be the communication and technical conduit between our engineering and assembly teams focusing on facilitating a smooth production flow and ironing out technical issues. The sky is the limit in this role as you’d be able to create solutions to problems and own the outcome.

This role is perfect for someone who has a related degree/ diploma with a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role. This is one of those unique roles where your career will be nurtured and developed in our organisation and a stepping stone into an Engineering or Operations role with us.

Your day to day accountabilities will include:

Acting as the Engineering liaison to resolve technical issues;

Drafting work procedures, capturing technical requirements into processes and owning the maintenance and updating of these documents;

Root cause analysis, recommendation and change implementation of quality issues to eliminate recurring quality issues;

Delivering technical training across products and work procedures;

Responding pro-actively to production or assembly issues and provide workable solutions;

Supporting from time to time, new product prototyping and introductions to Production (new product introduction);

Working on ad hoc and unplanned work;

 

What you’ll need:

  • A Mechatronics, Electronic or Engineering related degree/ diploma (essential);
  • 3 years of similar career experience;
  • Exposure to access database or hands on database experience;
  • Exposure to visual basic (coding);
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and numerical skills;
  • Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution and influencing ability;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
