We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Draftsperson to join our Infrastructure Engineering team in Kidman Park, SA on a fixed term basis for 3 months.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure you will play a key role in our National Engineering Team, Providing quality drafting services for the National Team.

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include:

• Support of the Mechanical, Electrical and Piping Engineers with development of design; 3D models, drawings, and associated deliverables
• Preparation of preliminary designs, 3D models, drawing packages, and associated documentation, for concept and tender
• Preparation of detailed design, 3D models, drawing packages, and associated deliverables, for construction, installation and commissioning
• Production of as-built 3D models and drawings to enable field technicians to perform maintenance, checks and repairs to plant over the asset lifecycle

To excel in this position you will have the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)2D/3D and software packages applicable to a design drawing office
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of mechanical, piping and structural drafting
• Skilled in 3D plant and piping design modelling using database driven tools, - including output of MTO’s, ISO’s, orthographic etc., from the model.
• Knowledge of the application and requirement of associated codes and standards relevant to the discipline
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Plant 3D (or equivalent) and associated Autodesk packages
