This organisation is global engineering firm with major footprint on the infrastructure industry, including being ranked number one global design firm on numerous occasions. Due to increased portfolio of transport infrastructure projects, they have a requirement for a Senior Traffic Engineer.
This role is for a future leader who has a genuine interest in succession and long-term career growth. This role will collaborate with global teams and work on a wide variety of projects, giving you the opportunity to shape your career in alignment with your own goals.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the transport planning, traffic engineering and highway design teams across Queensland and interstate with transport planning and traffic engineering, including Transport Impact Assessment, mesoscopic and microsimulation modelling and road safety.
You will also:
- Provide project management to small and medium sized transport planning or traffic engineering projects
- Contribute to the winning and delivery of small to large scale projects
- Lead or assist with preparing proposals and presentations to clients to win work.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering, transport, planning, economics etc.)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in either Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning or Traffic Modelling
