An experienced Traffic Engineer is required to assist a busy council in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs. 

Employed as a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Responding to enquiries from local residents and clients via email, letter & phone.
• Assisting Traffic Engineers with investigations
• Assessment of traffic, transport and parking impacts of developments
• Provide administrative support to the team
• Technical report writing 
• Review of Traffic Management Plans

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
• Experience working as a Traffic or Transport Engineer preferably within Local Government
• Solid knowledge of Local Government traffic and transport procedures and policies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A current drivers license
