This thriving Australian owned company located in the South Eastern suburbs has built a reputation for designing and distributing superior quality products to industries including pharmaceutical, dairy and brewing. With their primary business supplying pumps, valves and fittings, this company is made up of a team of highly skilled designers, engineers and supported by a dedicated team to ensure they provide customised solutions to their clients.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer focussed and dedicated individual to join their Internal Sales team. This role would suit an appropriately qualified individual (degree or diploma) who is not only technically minded but genuinely enjoy customer interaction (great communication skills) and looking to commence or kick start their career.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing quality advice and/or technical information to a range of customers via telephone and email.
- Support the sales team with processing of sales orders
- Preparation of quotes in conjunction with the sales team
- Dealing with product availability and delivery questions
- Timely customer follow-up from order to delivery ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Work in a collaborative and positive manner with other team members
Skills and attributes required:
- Ideally you will possess a Degree in engineering or technically minded individual, working in a similar role and keen expand your internal sales role with view to further career options in sales.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential and ability to build rapport and strong relationships
- Superior written skills and ability are essential
- Willingness to listen and learn, but also have the inner confidence to take initiative
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Want to be part of a dedicated and hardworking team.
