Due to continued growth, we have fantastic opportunity in the role of ILS Project Engineer. Based in Mawson Lakes, SA, this is an amazing career opportunity for an engineer with a background in ILS or TLS to join our growing ILS community, providing a diverse cross section of national projects as a Subject matter Expert in ILS Project Engineering activities. In this role you will provide guidance to project management, ILS Leads, project staff, and customers.

Some of the activities you will undertake are:
  • Manage and Lead the development of ILS Plans and Reports
  • Lead the development and maintenance of project processes, procedures and training to ensure successful management of all ILS activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and the Customer to lead the development and maintenance of the RAM, LORA, RCM, FMECA, LCC and Sparing models; identifying needs, identifying and selecting appropriate tools.
  • Guide and mentor ILS Engineers and ILS Analysis in their work and actively support their professional development.
  • Lead ILS Engineering Working Groups and participate as an active member of other engineering IPTs
  • Lead ILS Engineering activities and provide expertise to influence design through design program phases
  • Prepare briefing material and present briefings to provide management, customers and vendors recommendations/suggestions that address product Logistic issues, such as RAM, LCC etc
  • Develop key project and product requirements and their trace to the Functional Performance Specification.
  • This role is diverse and provides a rare opportunity within ILS to work across, and add value to a number of projects at various stages in their project life cycle.


You will have skills and experience in:
  • Experience in the development of ILS Plans & Reports
  • Experience in the development of Procedures and Processes
  • Extensive experience in the development and reporting of metrics and KPIs
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and reporting of project schedules and budgets
  • Experience in the application of Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) and Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to engineering projects
  • Experience in the application of Reliability Centres Maintenance, Level of Repair Analysis
  • Experience in the application of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis & Spares Modelling
  • Experience with analysing needs and system requirements, and allocation to specifications
  • Experience in mentoring and developing other team members
  • A Engineering in related engineering discipline would be highly regarded as would ILS specific training and accreditations.
