Your new role
Site manager working in the major works division is responsible for delivering maintenance and renewal of existing infrastructure assets across the Sydney Trains network and enabling and supporting Transport infrastructure investments in the rail network.
To achieve this it is focused on delivering projects which are commercially competitive and meet the desired timeframes and quality and safety standards
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in the planning and supervision of multi-discipline construction works projects, preferably in a rail environment.
• Experience in the implementation of site safety management requirements for construction works.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general construction practices and competencies with an understanding of rail construction methodologies including signalling, electrical, track and civil.
• Proven ability in leading work teams and/or contractors.
• Demonstrated planning, analytical and problem solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively across all levels
• Current Class “C” drivers licence and RIW card - which can be arranged
