About the position

Reporting to the Superintendent Process Control, the FMS Process Control Supervisor leads the team supporting the delivery of the following key objectives in the Fleet Management System (FMS) area:
  • Optimise the use of Fleet Management System (Minestar and Modular) to deliver safety, culture and productivity improvements
  • System and Process Standardisation
  • Data Integrity
  • Stable and Enabled Platforms 

Your duties will include:

  • Lead the team to ensure 24x7 FMS operational support is provided delivering improved mine model health, data integrity and quality incident first response.
  • Lead the team to identify and implement initiatives that contribute value to the business from a FMS Process control perspective.
  • Establish systems and processes to monitor FMS Performance
  • Develop, implement and communicate plan to improve FMS Performance and clearly articulates the associated impact to safety, culture and productivity
  • Develop and manage FMS standard operational configuration
  • Drive the effort to standardise FMS setup to achieve daily plan
  • Engage with Vendors to improve the FMS product with clear business cases for change requests
  • Engage with other departments to improve process related to FMS
  • Drive the effort the align FMS usage with operational tactics to maximise business value
Skills and Experience
  • As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Technical proficiency specific to Fleet Management Systems or Process Control/Automation will be highly regarded for this role.
  • Outstanding relationship skills, including the ability to engage and influence people at all levels across Engineering, Technology and Operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
  • C class manual drivers licence
