ALS Industrial is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced AICIP/API Inspector to work on major oil & gas facilities in WA.
This is a full time permanent position with nominal working hours of 12 hour shifts on a 15 day on / 13 day off roster (start/finish times varied to meet client requirements).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct General and Close Visual Inspection;
• Conduct Inspection utilising remote digital visual equipment such as RVI;
• Conduct Coating Inspection;
• Support NDT operations as required;
• Assist in the creation of Inspection and NDT scopes;
• Liaise with the client and provide recommendations where required;
• Prepare and compile reports;
• Ensure that proper safety and quality procedures are strictly followed.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Proven in service inspection experience in oil and gas sector is essential;
• Certification in AICIP and/or API 510 and 570;
• Level 2 ISO 9712 NDT Qualifications in UT, MT, PT, ET & RT preferred;
• NACE Coatings Inspection qualification is preferred;
• IRATA Qualifications preferred;
• Computer proficient with respect to e-mail, MS Word and Excel;
• An ability to contribute and work as part of a team environment.
