Piping Engineers
Building/Fabrication/Design
Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded private company and a recognised leader in the Australian steel fabrication and construction industry. We provide steel design, fabrication and construction services to the construction, mining, oil and gas sectors Australia wide.
PIC has recently been awarded the SMP package for construction of a large scale process plant located South of Perth. PIC are thrilled to be a part of this exciting opportunity – Construction taking place here in WA will play a big part in creating local jobs for local people, we encourage and support local employment.
PIC require Piping Engineers experienced in Piping for Fabrication and Design work to join our on-site team at the Kwinana Lithium Plant to coordinate all aspects of our Scope of Work from receipt of design documentation through to Project Completion.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Relevant Degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management.
- Experience in Piping Fabrication, Installation, Inspection and Testing.
- Relevant experience in Project Engineering within Construction Industry ideally within process plant.
- Experience in Building, Fabrication and Design.
- Experience developing and executing Lift Studies.
Responsibilities will include :
- Ensuring all engineering work generated for the project is to a high professional standard and in accordance with PIC and the Client’s technical, quality and safety requirements;
- Generate engineering reports, specifications, procedures and engineered solutions in a timely and accurate manner;
- Develop and coordinate work packs with and for work crews, including Valve/SP item data sheet production;
- Material requisition production;
- Enact continuous improvement in all aspects of PIC operations.
- Development and maintenance of a safe work environment that meets statutory and client requirements.
- Manage technical queries, engineering issues, deliveries, and variations, to contract.
- Prepare progress reports and procurement updates for inclusion in weekly/monthly reports.
- Monitor progress, attend client/site meetings and represent PIC as required.
- Track and document fabrication and installation progress.
