The Metro Tunnel Project

About the role:

As the Senior Project Engineer (Train Control), you will be part of the team supporting the introduction of a new CBTC train control system and its integration with existing MTM Operational Control Systems. You will co-ordinate design and delivery of changes to the legacy train control systems and telemetry systems to support the RSA project scope whilst monitoring subcontractor performance, schedule and quality parameters applicable to this position. You will need to be self-driven and demonstrate skills in identifying issues and independently manage all resources to achieve the required outcomes. You will liaise with other RSA Project teams and MTM stakeholders to ensure functional requirements are met and train control related matters are effectively managed.

About your experience:

You will have a tertiary qualification in relevant IT or Engineering discipline, with strong demonstrated experience in providing technical engineering services in railway projects or other systems engineering projects.

Additionally, you value the importance of teamwork and of listening, challenging your peers and making a difference. You are confident to bring innovation to the table. You have the agility to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels and the ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining focused on excellence. Consultative approaches to providing solutions regarding challenging assignments mixed with exceptional customer service are critical skills you've demonstrated over your career.
