It's an exciting time to be part of this respected mineral processing company as they take a sustainable approach to expanding their existing operations in North Queensland. They were established in the mid 90’s and have built a reputation for producing low cost, high grade Zinc, Copper, Sulphuric Acid and Zinc ferrite for clientele across the world.
As they embark on expanding their existing operations, an immediate requirement has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer. You will support the Management by effectively improving the Civil and Structural integrity of the refinery specifically; roads, foundations, footings, pads, structural frames along with associated assets.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- BS in Civil Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia)
- Ideally 5+ years of engineering work experience
- Experience working in a heavy industry or complex manufacturing environment
- Performed engineering analysis on designs
- Extensive experience with civil design documentation
- Able to provide leadership and direction to less experienced engineers
- Experience interfacing with engineering consultancies, and construction contractors
- It would be highly desirable for candidates who have or is eligible for RPEQ
