Job Description

We are seeking to engage with a client focused, professional and entrepreneurial National Director who wishes to join a proactive team. Working across career defining projects in Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare and Commercial industries, you will join the Colliers team to benefit from exposure to all manner of clients. You are joining a business that focuses on working together, and managing projects across a diverse range of sectors for our clients and driving new business. 

• Contribute to the financial performance of the company. 
• Ensuring the company provides the necessary resourcing, training and development to deliver the business targets set by the executive committee.
• The operational delivery of projects in line with client and contractual requirements; program and procedures; and all relevant legislation.
• Leadership, management and mentoring of all personnel to ensure superior business performance in all aspects of project delivery including scope, time, cost and profitability, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, health, safety and environment and procurement .
• Assist Associate Directors during the tendering process particularly in relation to methodology, buildability, risk management and subcontractor involvement.
• Approve fee proposals and execute contracts in accordance with the Delegate Authority Matrix and IMS.
• The development and maintenance of superior client and key stakeholder relationships at all business levels. 
• Attend Client PCG’s and Key Stakeholder meetings as required.
• Ensuring all corporate objectives are met across all operational aspects of the company.
• Lead the team, working as a role model for other staff and driving the ongoing development and improvement of the company.
• Corporate Governance of the company and ensuring systems and procedures are fully implemented to ensure that the business is not at risk of non-compliance with third party accreditations.
• Prepare reports and necessary documents for the Executive Committee.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in the construction indusrty.
• Proven track record leading a team. 
• University degree qualified, ideally in Project Management, Engineering, Design or Construction. Qualifications in formal project methodologies is desirable.
• End to end project oversight and delivery - including project planning, budget management, risk management, issue management, personnel management, client management, commercial issue management, testing management. An understanding of the real estate / property industry is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral, ability to converse with all level of staff from senior level management to technical staff.
• It is essential to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
