The Company
A well-established mid-size contracting company operating in Western Australia for over 20 years, our client has a proven record in delivering complex construction contracts on time and on budget, with minimal variation.
The Role
This is a Civil Supervisor’s position, delivering subdivision projects around the Perth Metro Area. This opportunity will suit someone with at least two years’ dedicated subdivision experience and 5+ years Civil Supervision experience, who enjoys working in a fast paced, high performance environment who can hit the ground running. Ideally coming from an Operator background, you will have a clear understanding of what can be achieved in a day.
Effective communication skills are essential - as a site based supervisor you will: effectively manage all plant; direct the workforce and sub-contractors; interact with clients, local authorities and on- & offsite Project Management - ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Projects will be predominantly civil earthworks in the greater metro area, including: earthworks, utilities services, roads, sewage & drainage and retaining walls for both residential and industrial sub-divisions.
A genuine commitment to delivering a safe, healthy working environment in compliance with best practice HSE standards are essential. You will be relationship focused and fully committed to achieving positive outcomes not only for your company but also the client.

About You
- At least 3 years in a Civil Supervisory position working for a civil contractor
- 2+ years working in subdivisions
- Demonstrate good experience in bulk earthworks, drainage and pavements
- A solid understanding of HSE compliance and QA/QC processes
- A personable attitude and ability to adapt to change and adopt new ideas
- Strong communication, literacy, numeracy and teamwork skills
- Stable employment history
This role will offer a good current market salary and the proven ability to grow both in your role and with the company. It is ideal if you are able to commence at short notice and have the right to work in Australia without visa assistance.
