We have an opportunity for a self-motivated construction professional to join our growing team.  We are a reputable commercial construction company seeking an experienced and dedicated project manager or contract administrator wanting to move to a project manager role.  This dynamic role requires an individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment.

The roles and responsibilities for the Project Manager/Contract Administrator include:

• Project management and contract administration on projects.
• Preparation of project documentation and reports.
• Ensure quality assurance of all works is completed.
• Ensure safety compliance of site. 
• Let trade contracts for winning sub-contractors in conjunction with the estimator.
• Liaise closely with the client and subcontractors in regard to both progress and performance on the site. 
• Scheduling subcontractors and resources to meet project requirements.

The successful applicant should ideally possess the following:

• Professional experience working for a commercial builder.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction projects.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proven track record in project management, contract administration, expenditure tracking, budgeting and strategizing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction techniques, foreseeing construction issues and supervising construction works.
