An experienced Project Manager is sought to join one of Melbourne's most established commercial fit-out contractors who are looking to bring in additional resources due to successful tendering.

This role would suit an established Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering large refurbishment and fit out projects looking for a fresh working environment within a progressive professional organisation. 
 
Employed as the Project Manager you will be overseeing a number of projects, ensuring they run to program and budget, or, one large project - dependent on project needs. A large part of the role will be to work in conjunction with the design, estimating and construction teams.

The Role:
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible for:

• Manage projects from pre-construction through to defect liability and hand over
• Deliver projects in accordance to Building regulations and company standards
• Implement company project delivery systems
• Manage WHS&E
• Manage financial responsibility for projects
• Project performance management
• Manage tender interviews & letting of contracts
• Generate construction programmes

The role is offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high quality projects; ranging in value from $500,000 to $15,000,000 across the Retail, Commercial, Education & Healthcare sectors.

Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A tertiary qualification in Construction / Engineering
• Experience of running commercial projects from $500k - $15 million
• Experience in refurb / fit out essential 
• Previous experience of managing large site teams
• Excellent time management
• Very good written and verbal communication
• Appropriate IT skills
