We are currently seeking a highly motivated Cadet Construction Estimator to join our Pre-construction team.
The Role
Based in our Head Office at Brisbane you will be responsible in assisting the sales team in estimating and tendering industrial and commercial projects from $1M to $10M.
Reporting to the General Manager - Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Assist Senior Estimators in providing full Bill Of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review Request for Tender in conjunction with Senior Estimators to assess Scope of Works, Project Risks and Tender complexity.
- Produce accurate documentation within deadline.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Conduct site inspections for Conditions Analysis and Risk Assessment if required.
About you:
- Recently or partially completed Tertiary Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent course.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilising Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Locally based.
