Company Profile:

Gertzel is a Melbourne based surveying company with 30 years industry experience. We currently employ 25+ staff and service the Victorian construction industry. We provide a comprehensive surveying service, utilising state of the art equipment and the latest software.

Our disciplines include engineering surveying, laser scanning, hydrographic surveying, topographic surveys and survey management for key infrastructure projects across Victoria.

About the Role:

We have an opportunity available for a Casual or Part-time Draftsperson to join our unique and highly skilled team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Drafting of topographic and engineering detail surveys.

•             Survey data post processing.

•             As constructed plan preparation.

•             Updating design plans to as constructed.

•             Aerial image overlays.

•             Service location plans.

•             Submission of as constructed plans and digital data to Government authorities and council.

Criteria for a Successful Applicant:

•             Previous experience in MicroStation or Autocad.

•             Previous experience drafting feature surveys an advantage.

•             Familiarity with point cloud data and GIS data an advantage

•             A strong work ethic.

•             A team player displaying a willingness to learn and adapt to existing processes and procedures.

•             The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

•             The ability to work without supervision and to manage time efficiently.

•             Australian Residency is mandatory.
