A unique, boutique consultancy is expanding due to successful wins of major contracts with some of the country's most recognised development and construction firms. The business was founded on the principals of employing people with a background from the construction and building environment, which gives them a unique insight into the operation and delivery of schemes. The company has a focused and driven team and is handling some of the Victoria's landmark projects. Our client provides consulting services in development management, design and project management and construction planning/methodology.
Description
With the successful growth of the business, our client is seeking a hands-on Construction Planner / Project Manager to lead major, mixed use, residential, hotel and commercial projects. This is a value-add organisation, providing advice to clients before and during construction to influence better outcomes. A high level of stakeholder management, construction planning and logistics management will be involved.
Profile
- Min 3 years’ experience in a 1st or 2nd tier builder
- Direct site exposure working for a builder/contractor
- Tertiary qualified in construction or a related discipline
- Experience as a Planner, Contracts Manager or Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer
- Experience managing major commercial/retail/residential construction projects
- Strong relationship management skills
