Boral Timber Koolkhan is looking for experienced Sawmill Operators. We are looking for reliable people with a strong work ethic and excellent safety skills. You will be taught all facets of working in a timber mill. Experienced machine operators will be strongly considered for these vacant roles.
Reporting to the Plant Manager the hours of work are from 6.45am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6.45am to 1.00pm Friday however you must be flexible with working hours as there could be overtime involved depending on the requirements that day.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Any previous experience operating a bandsaw or similar log breakdown Machine
- Experience using a Front End Loader
- Be physically fit
- Able to manually handle various size timber sections
- Knowledge of timber industry preferred
- Loyal and reliable team member
