In an exciting period of change and growth, our client is searching for the right candidate, ambitious, and dynamic, looking to take the leap into leadership to join its Executive.
To be successful in this role, experience in structures surveying, proven and extensive experience with relevant qualification in Surveying and experience with 12D Model office software will be necessary. You will be well-versed in engineering design and survey practice with specialised knowledge to support and provide solutions in construction management and will possess strong commercial acumen to lead and manage a team of Surveyors ensuring performance excellence in delivering to the project specification and contract.
You will be the conduit between Estimating, Construction, authorities and other involved parties for information relevant to project content review in relation to construction design and meeting both quality and commercial feasibility delivery of the project.
Selecting, engaging and monitoring the performance of external design partners, co-ordinating council submission of final documentation, including constructed drawings, and securing authority approvals is the responsibility of the Survey Manager, while overseeing the field survey team in its delivery of technically competent quality surveying to meet project specifications.
This exciting role will require capability in:
- Control and management of Survey Files
- Distribution of survey details to Field Survey Team
- Manage conformance of Quality documentation
- Advise on Excavation Management Plans and mass Haul Detailing
- Source and champion technology innovation that optimises operational efficiencies
- Design Quality Survey metrics
- Prepare technical reports for presentation to clients and authorities
- Assess design issues that may impact on Constructability
