SJA Construction Services, a highly regarded firm of construction consultants and project managers is now looking for Senior Grade Construction Planner/Programmer with minimum 10 years Australian construction and/or building industry experience to join our BRISBANE CBD office.
The role:
The construction planning and programming role is diverse in nature, though primarily will involve the provision of professional consultancy services to our growing list of Authority, Developer, Contractor, and end-user Clients. Daily tasks may include production of detailed project programmes for all project stages in line with contract documentation, monitoring and updating project schedules, regular project progress analysis and reporting, resource analysis, feasibilities, and providing accurate substantiation and/or assessment of delay/acceleration claims. This is a Senior Role that services our Clients by providing valued input on the time related aspects of Project Delivery.
Experience:
The successful candidate will be dynamic, confident and self-motivating individual with minimum 10 years hands-on planning and programming experience within the Australian construction industry. The following attributes are also critical to success:
- Extensive construction experience, particularly major building construction.
- A high level of skill and understanding of construction planning and programming principles, standards and methodology.
- The ability and confidence to present to and engage Clients at all levels.
- The ability to quickly ascertain a Client's programming and planning needs.
- Possess a commensurate level of business acumen to assist creation and maintenance of solid client relationships as well as to seek new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in mainstream planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project.
