The Role:
A privately owned PQS consultancy based in Central Sydney are currently looking to appoint a Quantity surveyor to join their Health and Education division, to assist with the companies continually growing work load. With a vast amount of capital spend coming from the health and education sector, the company is keen to attract a capable Quantity Surveyor who can work with the current team to help deliver a number of high value projects across this space.
The company who have been trading for over 40 years have a build a strong reputation as one of Australia’s most trusted and professional PQS organisations. The company have a number of offices throughout the country and work with a wide variety of high profile clients across various verticals. The typical value of projects the company works on is around 50 million dollars and can vary in and size and complexity.
For the role you will require:
- A relevant industry degree relating to construction
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a CA or Quantity surveying capacity
- Accreditation to a relevant industry body, MRICS, AIQS (not essential, but desirable)
- Experience of working on commercial or public sector build projects
- Pre and Post contract experience
- Clear and concise communication abilities.
