An independent quantity surveying and dispute resolution consultancy are currently looking to appoint an Associate level Quantity Surveyors to join their Sydney office. With an extensive work load coming from a variety of clients, the consultancy is now looking to develop their existing team with an associate who can lead by example. Working closely with the directors you will be given full autonomy to run and lead projects as well as contribute to strategy and future growth.
The consultancy who have been in business for the last 4 years work across a variety of sectors including Rail, Highways, Energy, Healthcare and commercial property. Their project values vary in size from 5 to 1 billion dollars, and comprise of medium and large-scale capital investment schemes.
For this role, you will need to have:
- Between 10 to 15 years’ experience working as a Quantity surveyor for either a consultancy or main contractor in Sydney
- A relevant industry chartership, MRICS, MAIQS (ideal but not essential depending upon experience)
- An LLM, and or Arbitration experience
- Exposure to working on large scale infrastructure projects
- Strong pre-and post contract knowledge
- Exposure to working on large scale claims
- Strong cost and measurement abilities
- A high degree of self-awareness and acumen
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
