Our Client is one of Melbourne's quiet achievers; they don't court the spotlight but go about their business effectively and efficiently.  They are financially secure and are now looking to expand operations. 

They have been in operation almost 20 years and specialise in boutique apartment and retail developments ranging in value from $10M - $20M and pride themselves on delivering a top quality product.  They will deliver their own projects as well as tender for external clients.

They now have two projects about to hit construction; one apartment build in and one retail , and need a strong Contract Administrator to assist an experienced PM in the delivery of each project.
 
Based out of the head office in the west you will assist with the letting of all sub-contract packages, variations, scopes of works, along with cost reporting as well as assisting with design development and general coordination.
 
The ideal candidate will:

• Have completed a tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction/project management or a related discipline
• Have at least 5 years experience in a CA, coordinator or estimating position within the construction industry
• Be a self starter capable of working without direction or micro management
• Be able to multi task effectively
• Be well presented and an effective communicator
• Possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills

In return you will be rewarded with a market leading salary starting at $110,000 - $160,000 dependent on experience and a long term management opportunity with an expanding and financially secure builder/developer.
