Leading Hand – High Rise Residential – Sydney – Contract - 3 months+  
 
 
About the Company
 
My client is an established Australian builder who deliver a number of high value construction projects in the high rise residential sector.
 
The opportunity is for a Lead Hand with experience both supervising and working hands on, to help deliver and hand of a prestigious residential project in Sydney. The right candidate will be hard working and have a great eye for detail.

About the Role
 
The Leading hand will be required to work closely with the Foreman to help meet important handover dates. The Leading Hand will be required to work on the tools when required helping to reduce defects and ensuring excellent quality of work. The candidate will need to be self-motivated and be an excellent team player being able to communicate clearly with supplies and sub-contractors.
 
Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate all labour activity on site
• Hands working for final fixes and finishes
• Liaise with all parties to ensure efficient work between suppliers and sub-contractors
• Ensure excellent working standards are adhered to
• Ensure high levels of health and safety

 
Skills & Experience

• Carpentry trade qualified
• High Rise Finishes experience
• Own tools preferable
• Excellent communication skills
