Our client is a multi-award winning design & construction company located in Sydney NSW. They have a number of projects in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors and are seeking to appoint a Junior & Senior Project Manager to join their Project Management team.
Junior Project Manager:
To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with a passion for managing your own projects. Ideally, you will have Contracts Administration and Project Coordination experience, completed your Building and Construction Degree / or Carpentry Trade and already have some other building projects already under your belt.
This is an outstanding opportunity for the up and coming Project Manager!
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your duties will include:
• Taking control of Contracts Administration and Tenders
• Interpreting Architectural Drawings and takeoffs
• The scope of works, tender packages, and assessment of bids
• Preparing purchase orders and subcontracts
• General contracts administration and Project Coordination
Senior Project Manager:
Working with key stakeholders, you will be a key part of the project team responsible for delivering $100m worth of projects over the next 5 years. Projects will be ranging from $2m - $50m and could include new developments or demolition and rebuild of existing buildings.
As an autonomous Project manager, you will be responsible for providing lifecycle project management advice from DA through to delivery including scope definition, business case development, feasibility studies, planning, cost management, design management, construction delivery, and contracts administration.
As a Senior Project Manager to be successful in this position, you will have:
• 5 years' experience in a similar role within commercial projects
• Cost reporting and cash flows
• Thorough understanding of NSW apartment construction
• Excellent communication skills
• Client focused
• Builders license / relevant Building Degree qualification
